About Riviera Marine

Riviera Marine was founded in Sidney in 1980 with the launch of the Riviera 38 MKI. After relocating to the Gold Coast (Queensland), the Australian shipyard became famous throughout the 80s and 90s for its well-designed, well-appointed Sport Fishermen. Thanks to booming exports to the US and EU, the 280 staff relocated to brand new facilities in Coomera in 1998. In March 2012, the company was purchased by Gold Coast entrepreneur Rodney Longhurst. Today, Riviera Marine is Australia’s #1 builder of top-of-the-range Sport Fishermen.
