The Boater’s Notes

Launched in 1975, WING SING was originally built as a leisure vessel, loosely modeled on a traditional Chinese fishing junk. After acquiring her in 2007, her current owners spent the next five years rebuilding her from keel to hounds, propelling WING SING to a level of luxury and yachting sophistication previously unknown in the world of sailing junks. Today, WING SING is the ultimate venue for an evening cocktail on Hong Kong’s iconic Victoria Harbour. She will also cruise around Hong Kong’s outlying islands, exploring the pristine tropical waters of Clear Water Bay and the New Territories. With her foredeck sunbed, shaded mid-ship, high stern and vast aft deck, she provides abundant space for admiring the views, sunbathing, hosting a cocktail reception and enjoying a first-class picnic. Three fully operational lugsails provide the junk sailing experience of a life-time. WING SING can also offer overnight accommodation for six people. Mooring options in Aberdeen and Hebe Haven.
