The Boater’s Notes

Sawadee is a lovingly restored Cheoy Lee cutter with a GRP hull and Burmese teak fittings, built at the Cheoy Lee shipyard in Penny’s Bay in 1980. One of a few remaining Cheoy Lee sailing yachts from that magical era of Hong Kong’s maritime history, she was built as a blue water sailing boat, which accounts for her exceptional seaworthiness. Sawadee is being sold by her owners of 30 years at a very attractive price.
