New Appointment

On September 13th 2024, The Boater became the official Hong Kong dealer for Cantiere del Pardo‘s performance cruising brand, Grand Soleil Yachts. Having won the O.R.C. World Championship Series 8 times between 1998 and 2024, Grand Soleil is the most successful yachting brand in the Series’ history. Sailing yachts built to win, and impress. Made in Italy.

Cantiere del Pardo

First established in Emilia Romagna in 1973, on the Adriatic coast of Italy, Cantiere del Pardo has since become one of Italy’s leading shipyards. With more than 5,000 hulls launched to date and state-of-the-art facilities which include 40,000 square meters of indoor workshops, the shipyard now owns three successful yachting brands: Pardo Yachts, Van Dutch and Grand Soleil Yachts. Grand Soleil was the cantiere‘s first brand and has become Italy’s premier  racer-cruising brand, combining the unique qualities of Italian design with world class performance.

Grand Soleil Performance

In the land of Ferrari, style is not enough: you have to win. With the help of the world’s leading naval architects, from Bruce Farr and German Frers to yachting’s reigning star Matteo Polli, Grand Soleil have built one of the world’s top yacht racer-cruising brands. After winning the ORC World Championship Series 8 times over the last 26 years, Grand Soleil currently hold the record of the most succesful shipyard in ORC history. From 40 to 72 feet.

Grand Soleil Long Cruise

In the land of Ferrari, winning is not everything: you have to do it in style. The sleek profile and elegant yet functional interiors of Grand Soleil’s Performance line naturally led to the development of a Long Cruise range. Creating extra volume and increased stability with higher freeboard, heavier and friendlier hull profiles, the Long Cruise yachts combine seaworthiness, comfort and luxury. From 42 to 72 feet.

Grand Soleil Blue

Grand Soleil is pioneering sustainable yacht design with recyclable thermoplastic resin hulls and sails, electric propulsion powered by solar pannel and hydro-generated current. The first model of this revolutionary Blue line is a 32 feet day sailor, the result  of a creative collaboration between nautical experts (Matteo Poli, Nauta Design) and pioneers in sustainable materials (NL Comp). This yacht represents a new chapter in the history of boating where sustainability, efficiency and design come together to create a “bluer” future at sea.
