The Boater’s Notes

They don’t make them like this any more. For sheer power, confidence, elegance, EN PASSANT is hard to beat. She takes to the sea, any sea, so kindly, it’s easy not to worry.

All the boat’s systems have been maintained regularly and kept fully operational by her dedicated owner. Everything works. The drone photographs of EN PASSANT under sail were taken on July 16th 2025 in the West Lamma Channel. 7 knots on a close reach, in 15 knots of wind. As with all boats of her vintage, there are systems and hardware that need updating: a list of future improvements/replacements can be obtained from the owner on request.

The yacht is currently moored in the Causeway Bay Typhoon Shelter, on a RHKYC mooring, which might be transferable to the new owner, subject to club approval.
